THDCIL is Schedule “A” Mini Ratna Government Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). It is one of the premier power generators in the country with an installed capacity of 1587 MW with the commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW), Dhukwan Small HEP (24 MW), and Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan,63MW at Dwarka and 50MW Solar Power Project Kasargod.

Qualification for THDCIL Recruitment
Full-Time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/in Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electrical(Power)/Electrical &Electronics/
Power Systems & High Voltage/Power Engineering, Mechanical/Mechanical & Automation Engineering Discipline from a recognized University or institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India with not than 65% marks.
Agreement Bond
The selected candidates will be required to execute a Service Agreement bond, for the General, OBC (NCL) & EWS categories of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh only) and for SC/ST/PwBDs category of Rs 7,50,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakh Fifty Thousand only) to successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the company for at least 03 years
Registration Fee
Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only) shall be payable by candidates belonging to General and OBC/EWS categories through online mode. No fee for SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates.
How to Apply
>> The relevant link will be made available on the THDCIL website https://www.thdc.co.in/Career Section New Openings. No other means/ mode of Registration Form shall be accepted. Candidates shall only apply through the online registration link. Before filling out the Online Registration Form please read the eligibility criteria and essential qualifications required carefully.
>> Only the candidates who have appeared for GATE-2022 can register online via the link available on the THDCIL website against Advertisement No. 07/2023. Read the instructions carefully and fill in the Online Registration Form giving accurate and correct information. After filling it, the system will generate a Unique Registration Number of THDC.
>> Candidates must ensure that they fill in the correct GATE-2022 Exam Details including GATE-2022 Admit Card Number in THDCIL Online Registration form.
>> Next, the candidates must fill in their Basic Information. Candidates must enter the same name in the same configuration as they are entering while applying to GATE-2022. (For example, if the candidate is entering his name as Sanjay Kumar Singh in the Online GATE 2022 application, he must enter Sanjay Kumar Singh (exactly the same 16 spelling) while applying to THDCIL Online Registration Form. He must not enter S K Singh or Sanjay K Singh while applying to THDCIL Online Registration Form.
>> Must carefully fill in the fields asked in the Basic Information. Such as State Domicile, Category, Religion, and other information asked.
>> Fill in the details of Academics & Professional Qualifications as per your mark sheet and certificate only. Provide marks as per your mark sheet. In the case of CGPA provide correct marks in percentage after conversion.
>> While filling in the Languages Known remember to tick the boxes provided in that section as well. Next, fill in the Address details and other information.
>> Remember to upload all the documents in per mentioned format and size. Please see that all documents uploaded are clear and readable.
>> Upon completing the filling of the details in the Registration form, the candidate has to click the Save button and then proceed further:
- For the candidates belonging to General, OBC(NCL), and EWS, the Payment Now option will appear before the final submission of the Registration Form, the candidate has to click on Payment Now and complete the payment process. After completing of the Payment process and filling up of Payment details click on the Submit Button at the bottom of the page.
- For ST/SC/PwBD/ J&K Domiciled / Ex-Servicemen/ Victims of riots /Doob Kshetra (Project Affected)/ Department Candidates (THDCIL Employees only) need not pay the Registration Fee and no Payment Now option will appear, for such candidates, they have to directly click on Submit button at the bottom for Final Submission.
After clicking of Submit button the Registration Form will be considered complete and submitted for Final Submission for both the above cases.

The last date for submission of payment details in the Online Portal (For Registered candidates only) is 06.05.2023 (5:30 PM)
