Qualification

>> Ph.D. in Science or M.Tech. in Engg. (Water Resources/ Hydrology/Remote Sensing & GIS/Soil and Water Conservation Engg./Geology/Environmental Science/Earth Science), with 3 years of research/teaching experience, with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Ph.D. in Engg. shall be considered as 3 years of research experience.

>> Graduate Degree in Engineering Course (B.E/B.Tech.) in Civil/ Agriculture Engg./Environmental Engg.

>> Postgraduate degree in basic sciences (Geology/Environmental Science/Earth Sciences)

>> Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course M.Tech. in Civil/Agriculture Engg./Environmental/ Water Resources/Hydrology/Remote Sensing/GIS/Geoinformatics)

Age Limit

Maximum Age for Research Scientist C shall be 40 years and for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be 28 years & Project Associate (I) will be 35 years and Project Officer /Technical Assistant will be 28 years, as on the date of interview. Age relaxation of SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

Note

Candidates can directly attend the walk-in-interview on the prescribed date, time at NIH along with complete biodata, passport size photograph, and original proof of qualification and experience. They must also bring with them self-attested copies of their certificates. The candidate may report to NIH one hour before the Interview time. After starting of Interview, admission in the same will not be allowed.
